KMA 200 R Cordless KombiMotor: Professional battery-powered KombiMotor with adjustable loop handle

The KMA 200 R is the most powerful battery-powered KombiMotor from STIHL. With 12% higher maximum RPM and 50% more power compared to the KMA 135 R, it’s designed for professionals taking on the most demanding gardening, landscaping and maintenance tasks throughout the working day.

The KMA 200 R is powered by a battery, meaning it has low noise emission – making it ideal for work in noise-sensitive areas such as schools, hospitals and quiet neighbourhoods. It’s powered by a 36-volt lithium-ion battery and is quiet, efficient and powerful enough to tackle a variety of tasks – whether it’s pruning, trimming, mowing, clearing or cutting!

Compatible with all KombiTools (except FS-KM and FSB-KM), attaching and changing tools is made simple too – all you need to do is insert your desired tool into the shaft and tighten to secure it in place. For mowing tasks, the KMA 200 R must be used with the FSS-KM grass trimmer attachment, which has a larger 45 cm cutting diameter and complies with noise regulations.

Loop handle

Fitted with a new style loop handle that has a quick-mounting system, meaning you can adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position. This handle also makes tackling tasks on slopes, around trees or on uneven terrains even easier. It’s also fitted with an adjustable harness point for reducing fatigue and optimising balance. The KMA 200 R has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 3 different speed settings (6,300, 8,200, 9,500 RPM) depending on the task you’re doing. It’s also fitted with an LED display as well as infinitely variable speed control. The air filter on the housing ensures that the engine is kept cool during work, improving the service life of the brushcutter. It’s easy to remove and clean too.

You can use any of the AP batteries with the KMA 200 R, however, working times will vary depending on which attachment you use with it. The AP 500 S battery will give you the longest working times but is also the heaviest of the AP batteries, so you may decide to choose a smaller capacity battery if you are going to be using the tool for a longer period of time, such as when hedge trimming.

The KMA 200 R is supplied with a basic harness as standard. KombiTools sold separately.

BATTERY COMPARTMENT IN THE ENGINE CASING

DIRECT POWER SUPPLY TO THE tool. With this tool, you can insert the required battery from the STIHL AP System directly into the engine housing. This increases your mobility and flexibility when working.

Doing so reduces energy consumption at low speeds, and in this way extends the battery runtime. The practical control handle with speed control allows you to make the relevant adjustment without having to change your grip or pause work.

FLEET MANAGEMENT WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR

OPTIMISED tool USE. Thanks to STIHL connected, you always have an overview of your tool fleet and can automatically receive tool data such as age, operating hours, and maintenance status. This allows you to determine the ideal fleet size based on digital information, as it makes clear how the tool fleet is being used. The Smart Connector collects the required data and transfers it to a tool. All recorded tool data is available for viewing and evaluation in the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal.

CONSTANT POWER

When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. However this isn’t the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

IPX4 CERTIFIED

SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The AP 200 S is IPX4 certified thanks to the encapsulated electronics and sealing of each individual cell. It means that the battery is protected against splashwater from all sides and can be used in rainy conditions.
