Why choose the HLA135 cordless hedge trimmer?
Versatile trimming from any angle
The Stihl HLA 135 features a 145° adjustable cutter bar that allows easy transitions between top, side, and ground-level cutting. This flexibility makes it perfect for shaping tall hedges, trimming wide bushes, and managing low ground cover — all with one tool.
Professional-grade cutting power
Equipped with a 60 cm double-sided blade and 34 mm tooth spacing, the hla135 delivers clean, precise cuts even on thicker branches. The friction-optimised universal blades improve efficiency and help extend battery runtime.
Ergonomic and balanced design
A lightweight magnesium gearbox reduces overall weight without compromising durability, improving balance and reducing fatigue during longer sessions. The practical eyelet also allows you to use a shoulder strap for even greater comfort and control.
Adjustable speed for maximum efficiency
The single-handed multi-function control handle includes an LED display and lets you easily adjust the speed to suit each job. Lower speeds help save energy and extend battery life, while higher settings deliver full cutting power for tough sections.
Efficient cooling and long service life
The metal mesh air filter provides optimal engine cooling, keeping the EC motor running reliably and protecting it from dust and debris. It’s easy to clean and helps maintain a long working life for the tool.
Direct battery slot for cordless freedom
The HLA 135 has a direct battery compartment, so you don’t need a connecting cable or external battery pack. This improves mobility and keeps your setup clean and simple.
Flexible battery options
While the AP 200 battery is recommended for balanced performance, the HLA135 can also be used with the AP 300 S or AR backpack batteries for longer run times. For example, with an AR 3000 L, you can achieve up to 520 minutes of continuous trimming on level 1.
