Why choose the FSA135R cordless brushcutter?

Powerful cutting for tough vegetation

With a 1 kW output and a 420 mm cutting circle (using the supplied AutoCut C 26-2 head), the Stihl FSA 135 R delivers fast, efficient clearing. It’s perfect for tackling long grass, dense weeds, and scrub without the vibration or fumes of a petrol tool.

Flexible speed and intuitive control

The ergonomic control handle offers three preset speed levels with an LED display, as well as infinitely variable throttle control. This helps you adjust power to suit the job, extend battery runtime, and reduce fatigue during longer sessions.

Durable air filter for long service life

The metal mesh air filter keeps the EC motor cool and clean, ensuring consistent performance and extending tool lifespan. It’s easy to remove and wash, keeping maintenance simple and quick.

Smart connectivity ready

The fsa135r is ready to be fitted with a STIHL Smart Connector 2 A, so you can track tool usage, monitor run times, and plan maintenance through the STIHL connected app or portal — ideal for professional fleet management.

Versatile tool compatibility

The Stihl FSA 135 R can be fitted with a range of STIHL cutting tools to suit different tasks and ground conditions, making it a true all-rounder for professional grounds care.

Comfortable loop handle for tight spaces

The loop handle design with protective bar offers excellent manoeuvrability and safer working in confined areas. Combined with the single shoulder harness and universal guard, it provides better balance and reduces strain during operation.

Weather-ready build

Rated IPX4, the FSA135R is splash-proof and can be used reliably in wet or variable weather conditions, giving you more flexibility to work when needed.

Is the FSA 135 R a strimmer or a brushcutter?

The Stihl FSA 135 R is classed as a brushcutter rather than a standard strimmer. While a strimmer (also known as a grass trimmer) is typically designed for lighter tasks like edging and tidying lawn edges, a brushcutter like the FSA135R is built for tougher work. It can clear dense grass, weeds, and even thicker scrub thanks to its higher power, robust build, and ability to use a range of cutting heads and blades. This makes the FSA 135 R ideal for professional users or anyone needing more than just basic grass trimming.
