Used Countax C60 with HGM Deck & Powered Sweeper

Used Countax C60 with HGM Deck and Powered Sweeper

This used Countax C60 is a versatile petrol garden tractor supplied with a 92cm HGM cutting deck and powered rear sweeper. It is a practical choice for larger gardens, estates, orchards and paddock areas where longer grass needs to be controlled and loose material collected afterwards.

The photographs show the actual machine for sale. It is in used condition and has age-related marks and signs of previous use.

HGM Deck for Longer Grass

HGM stands for High Grass Mulcher. Unlike a conventional finishing deck, it is designed to cut and mulch longer grass, nettles and rougher paddock growth where collecting directly from the deck is not required.

This makes the C60 useful for areas that are maintained less frequently than a formal lawn. It is still a garden tractor rather than a dedicated all-terrain brushcutter, so the ground and growth should be suitable for a two-wheel-drive machine.

Powered Rear Sweeper

The rear collector uses a PTO-powered rotating brush to sweep loose material from the ground. It can collect grass clippings, leaves and other light lawn debris after mowing.

This is different from a conventional chute-fed collector. Material is swept from the lawn rather than being blown directly from the cutting deck into the collector. The integrated rear roller can also help leave a striped finish on maintained grass.

Simple Hydrostatic Drive

The foot-controlled hydrostatic transmission allows the operator to adjust forward and reverse speed without changing gears. This makes it easier to slow down around obstacles or choose a suitable speed for changing grass conditions.

Power comes from a 603cc Kawasaki FS481V twin-cylinder petrol engine, giving the tractor the capacity needed to run its cutting and collecting attachments.
