FSA 80 Cordless Brushcutter: Excellent mowing performance, ideal for home gardens
The STIHL FSA 80 is a battery-powered brushcutter designed for tackling the toughest mowing, cutting and clearing jobs you may face in your home garden. The FSA 80 is battery powered and as such has low noise emissions – so you don’t have to worry about disturbing any neighbours either!
Fitted with a bike handle for comfortable working when cutting tall grass and weeds. The folding clamp makes it quick and easy to adjust the bike handle to the ergonomic position that suits you. The FSA 80 has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 2 different speed settings. There is an ECO mode (level 1), for simple tasks such as trimming lawn edges, which therefore results in lower energy consumption for extended battery life. And there is full speed mode (level 2), for mowing thicker grass, which will use more of the battery energy.
The FSA 80 is supplied with a basic harness and the GrassCut 230-2 blade as standard, but can also be fitted with other STIHL cutting tools, such as the AutoCut, TrimCut, DuroCut, PolyCut cutting tools.

LOOP HANDLE
MORE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT IN NARROW SPACES. The loop handle makes work in narrow spacers easier, such as clearing between bushes, shrubs or park benches. The practical handle position allows you to move your tool freely and to guide it easily and precisely, even in confined spaces.
HANGING EYELET
FOR SAFE STORAGE. The tool has an eyelet allowing you to store your tool safely as well as compactly.
TOOL-FREE HANDLE ADJUSTMENT
SET THE BIKE HANDLE POSITION. You can individually adjust the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) using the central clamping device. Thanks to the tool-free handle adjustment, you therefore do not need any tools for this. The bike handle can be rotated 90 degrees for transport a well as space-saving storage.
TOOL MONITORING WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR
INTEGRATION INTO STIHL CONNECTED. The tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your tool is always in a ready-to-use condition.
EC MOTOR
LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC motor enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
