The Silky Sugowaza 420 mm Lineman’s Hand Saw is built for professionals who need reach, speed, and control in demanding conditions. With a 420 mm mono-constructed blade and Silky’s precision Mirai-Me tooth design, it delivers clean, powerful cuts through large branches and dense green wood.
Trusted by arborists and linemen worldwide, the Sugowaza combines exceptional Japanese craftsmanship with practical safety features. It includes a protective slip guard for insulated gloves, a comfortable non-slip handle, and a heavy-duty scabbard for safe transport — all backed by Silky’s lifetime warranty.
Professional Performance for Demanding Work
The Silky Sugowaza 420 mm Lineman’s Hand Saw is designed for professionals who need serious cutting power with minimal effort. Its 420 mm blade makes quick work of large branches, while the taper-ground profile reduces drag for smoother, faster cuts. This saw’s pull-stroke action gives you maximum control and precision when working at height or close to power lines.
Engineered for Strength and Safety
The mono-constructed blade runs the full length of the handle, ensuring maximum strength and reducing flex during heavy pruning. A chrome-finished slip guard protects insulated gloves from damage, making it ideal for utility and arborist work where safety and grip are essential.
Advanced Japanese Blade Technology
Made from Silky’s renowned Ono NKS85 steel, the blade features the exclusive Mirai-Me 4-angle tooth design. Each tooth is precision-ground to create a mirror-smooth finish on every cut, reducing the need for extra trimming. The hard chrome plating resists sap and corrosion, extending the blade’s working life.
Comfort and Convenience
The large, grooved rubber handle fits naturally in the hand, absorbing vibration and providing a firm hold in cold or wet weather. The custom scabbard includes a D-ring and strap slots for attaching to a leg, belt, or tool board — giving you quick access and secure transport between cuts.
