Name: Polaris Sportsman 570 (2026) 567cc AWD ATV
Brand: Polaris
SKU: PARENT:SPORTSMAN 570
Availability: InStock

Polaris SPORTSMAN 570 (2026) is the entry point into the Sportsman 570 line-up, built around the proven 567cc ProStar engine and Polaris’ on-demand AWD system. It keeps things simple: strong towing, proper rack capacity and a narrow 48-inch stance that works just as well around buildings as it does on rough ground.

If you want the core Sportsman platform without stepping into EPS or higher-spec trims, this is it. At Suffolk Mowers, the Sportsman 570 suits riders who value reliability and straight-forward mechanical setup over added steering assistance or extra trim features.

Why people buy the Sportsman 570 (base)

The Sportsman 570 is chosen by buyers who want a capable, modern ATV for towing and rack work, but don’t want to pay for features they won’t use. You still get the same fundamentals that make the 570 platform popular: a smooth EFI engine, on-demand AWD for traction when conditions turn, and a chassis that stays manageable in tight places.

Best known for: strong work capability in a narrow ATV

48″ width makes a genuine difference if you’re dealing with gateways, woodland tracks, stable yards, or narrow farm access.
1228 lb towing and proper rack ratings give confidence for day-to-day hauling and shifting kit.
11.5″ ground clearance and independent rear suspension help it ride cleanly over ruts without beating you up.

Who it suits

Smallholders and estates who need a dependable “do-it-all” quad for towing, moving feed, checking stock, and general property work.
Leisure riders who want the Sportsman platform and its traction system, but prefer a simpler trim without added electronics.
Owners replacing an older work quad who want modern fuel injection, stronger lighting, and secure storage without jumping straight to higher trims.

The real strengths (and what’s deliberately kept simple)

The big selling point here is that it gives you the core Sportsman 570 platform without extra trim complexity. That matters if you’re the type of owner who wants predictable running costs and a straightforward setup.

EFI ProStar single-cylinder engine (567cc) for consistent starting and smooth power delivery.
One-touch on-demand AWD/2WD so you can run 2WD when ground is firm and call AWD in when it gets slippery.
Automatic PVT transmission with high/low and reverse for controlled work speed when towing or climbing.
No EPS on this trim — that’s the main difference versus the Sportsman 570 EPS. Some buyers see that as less comfort in tight steering situations; others like the simpler spec and feel.

Useful built-in details that buyers often miss

Lock & Ride 5-gallon front dry storage for tools, straps, and essentials you don’t want exposed on racks.
Front rack extender for carrying awkward loads more securely.
Winch mount included — worth having even if you don’t fit a winch on day one.
LED lighting with integrated indicators for clearer visibility and a cleaner road-style setup where required.

Frequently Asked Questions About Polaris SPORTSMAN 570 (2026)

Does the Sportsman 570 have power steering?

No. The Polaris SPORTSMAN 570 (2026) does not come with Electronic Power Steering. If you want lighter steering effort, particularly for yard work or long days riding, the next model up is the Sportsman 570 EPS.

What is the towing capacity of the Sportsman 570?

The Sportsman 570 can tow up to 557 kg (1228 lb) using the standard 1.25″ receiver hitch. That makes it suitable for trailers, small livestock boxes, and general estate work.

Is the Sportsman 570 suitable for farm and smallholding use?

Yes. With strong rack capacity, good ground clearance and on-demand AWD, it’s commonly chosen for small farms, paddocks and property maintenance where a dependable work quad is needed.

What’s the difference between the Sportsman 570 and the 570 EPS?

The key difference is Electronic Power Steering. The 570 EPS also typically adds Engine Braking System (EBS). If you spend a lot of time manoeuvring at low speed or riding technical ground, EPS can make a noticeable difference.

Can I fit a winch to this model?

Yes. The Sportsman 570 includes a winch mount from factory, making it straightforward to add a compatible winch when needed.

How wide is the Polaris Sportsman 570?

It measures 48 inches wide. That narrower stance is one reason buyers choose it for gateways, woodland tracks and restricted access areas.

I’ve been going to Linstead for years. Always helpful and friendly team. I’ve been changing all my items for battery operated ones. Stihl hedge trimmer, chainsaw and Stihl lawnmower. The team listen to my needs and advised which products would suit me. Next purchase will be the Stihl SHA 140 vacuum blower. Waiting for Keith to contact me. There after sales service is outstanding. Thank you
