Keep Your Okatsune Snips Working Like New
The Okatsune 423 Spring is a genuine factory part made to fit all Okatsune thinning snips. Over time, the spring on your snips can weaken or lose tension, affecting how smoothly they open between cuts. Replacing it with the correct Okatsune 423 restores that light, precise movement that makes trimming and harvesting effortless.
Designed for Precision Tools
Thinning snips are made for fine work — delicate pruning, soft growth, or fruit and flower harvesting — and rely on a consistent spring action to stay comfortable and accurate. The Okatsune 423 is carefully tensioned to suit these smaller hand tools, providing just enough resistance without strain on the hand.
Compatible with All Thinning Snips
- Fits Okatsune 304, 306, 307, and other thinning snip models
- Not suitable for secateurs such as the 101, 103, or 104
Why Gardeners Replace Their Springs
- To restore smooth and consistent handle movement
- To reduce fatigue during repetitive trimming work
- To maintain cutting precision and tool balance
- As part of routine care before the growing season
Easy to Fit
The Okatsune 423 Spring can be replaced in seconds with no tools needed. Simply remove the worn spring and slot the new one into place — the correct tension and shape mean it fits securely without adjustment.
Made to Last
Manufactured in Japan from high-grade steel, this spring is built for reliability. Keeping a spare or two on hand ensures your thinning snips are always ready for precise, effortless work in the garden or greenhouse.
