The Okatsune 307 Thinning Snips are made for growers who need more strength than the delicate 306 model but the same accuracy and control. With shorter 35 mm blades, they slice easily through firmer stems on fruit, vegetables, and ornamentals without bruising or tearing.
Favoured by professionals in vineyards, nurseries, and orchards, the Okatsune 307 combines Japanese steel sharpness with a compact, balanced design. Available from Suffolk Mowers with full UK support and lifetime warranty.
Precision and Strength for Everyday Use
The Okatsune 307 thinning snips deliver clean, precise cuts with extra strength for semi-hard stems. Their shorter 35 mm blades are sturdier than those of the 304 or 306 models, giving you better control when harvesting tomatoes, thinning grapes, or trimming young fruit wood. The combination of precision and durability makes them a favourite among professional horticulturists.
Made for Professional Growers
Designed for continuous use in vineyards, orchards, and nurseries, the Okatsune 307 is built to perform. The pointed tip reaches into dense foliage, while the short blade offers superior rigidity for cutting tougher soft growth. At just 110 g, they stay comfortable in hand throughout long working days.
Forged from Japanese Izumo Yasugi Steel
Each pair is hand-forged in Japan from Izumo Yasugi high-carbon steel — a material renowned for its sharpness, edge retention, and smooth cutting action. The spring-assisted handle and clean pivot provide effortless control and quick recovery between cuts, ideal for high-volume harvesting and pruning.
Care and Maintenance
Clean your snips after each use and apply a light oil to prevent sap build-up or corrosion. The blades can be lightly honed with a whetstone when needed. Avoid cutting woody stems to preserve the fine edge. For softer work, the Okatsune 304 or 306 models are ideal; for thicker material, use Okatsune 103 or 207 secateurs.
Lifetime Warranty for Confidence in Use
When purchased through Suffolk Mowers, the Okatsune 307 Thinning Snips are covered by a lifetime warranty. In the rare event of a manufacturing fault, they’ll be repaired or replaced free of charge. With simple care, these professional snips will deliver years of precise, dependable cutting.
