Forged in Japan from Izumo Yasugi steel — the same high-carbon material used in traditional Samurai swords — the Okatsune 104 delivers power and precision in equal measure. Available from Suffolk Mowers with full UK support and lifetime warranty, these secateurs are a trusted choice for professionals who demand comfort and control through a long day’s pruning.
Why Choose the Okatsune 104 for Professional Pruning
The Okatsune 104 secateurs are made for those who prefer a solid, full-hand grip and dependable strength in every cut. With a 210 mm handle length, they give extra reach and leverage without feeling heavy or unwieldy. Whether tackling thick shrub stems or general pruning tasks, the 104 delivers the clean, effortless cuts that define Okatsune’s reputation.
Strong, Sharp and Simple
Each pair is forged from high-carbon Izumo Yasugi steel — a material prized for its edge retention and strength. The sharp bypass blades glide through wood up to 25 mm thick, leaving smooth cuts that help plants heal faster. The simplicity of the design means fewer moving parts, less maintenance, and consistent reliability season after season.
Comfort for Larger Hands
Gardeners with larger hands often find standard secateurs cramped or tiring. The Okatsune 104 solves that problem, providing space and balance for a natural grip. The longer handles make repeated pruning easier, reducing strain during long working days.
Lifetime Warranty for Long-Term Confidence
When purchased through Suffolk Mowers, the Okatsune 104 comes with a lifetime warranty. If a manufacturing defect ever appears, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost. This reflects Okatsune’s commitment to crafting tools designed to last a lifetime when properly cared for.
Built to Last
Okatsune’s reputation comes from practical engineering that stands up to professional use. Every component is designed for longevity, from the single pivot joint to the spring mechanism. These secateurs can be easily maintained and resharpened using an Okatsune whetstone, extending their lifespan for years of dependable service.
