Powered by a 9 hp Honda GX270 petrol engine, the Major 4S is designed for processing branches, pruning waste and other woody garden material. It can accept branches up to 55 mm in diameter, making it suitable for larger gardens, estates and professional groundcare work.

Wide Intake for Bulky Branches

The 245 x 250 mm intake gives you more room when feeding in branches with several twigs attached. This reduces the amount of preparation needed and allows several smaller branches to be processed together.

20 Reversible Steel Blades

The shredding system uses 20 steel blades to cut material along the direction of the wood fibre. This helps the machine process branches efficiently while producing manageable chippings.

The blades are reversible, allowing both cutting edges to be used before replacement is required.

Belt-Driven Shredding System

Power is transferred from the engine through a belt drive. If the shredding system encounters a blockage, the belt helps absorb the impact instead of transferring the full force directly to the engine crankshaft.

Adjustable Discharge Chute

The high discharge chute can rotate through 270 degrees, allowing the processed material to be directed into a wheelbarrow, trailer or suitable collection area. The adjustable flap gives you further control over where the chippings land.

Built for Regular Use

The Major 4S has a welded steel frame and large pneumatic tyres. Its 630 mm overall width also makes it easier to move through narrower access points than many larger professional shredders.
