The AS 50 E-WeedHex is a clean-running, low-noise weed brush built for contractors and municipal teams working in residential or sensitive areas. Its 56-volt AS-Motor Electric drive delivers strong, steady output, while the 25-litre collection bag keeps debris contained so you spend less time sweeping up.

It’s designed for footpaths, kerb lines, business parks and school grounds where engine noise isn’t welcome. Suffolk Mowers supports the AS 50 E-WeedHex with batteries, chargers, replacement brushes and servicing. For the petrol equivalent, you can view the AS 50 WeedHex.

What the AS 50 E-WeedHex Is Known For

The AS 50 E-WeedHex takes the proven layout of the petrol AS 50 and brings it into the quiet, zero-emission bracket. It keeps the same 50 cm working width, automatic brush pressure and 25-litre collection bag, but runs on a powerful 56-volt electric drive. This makes it a strong option for housing estates, schools and early-morning commercial work where engine noise isn’t suitable.

Its DPLF-certified stone guard keeps debris contained, and the variomatic speed control lets you work slowly along kerbs or pick up the pace on open paving. Because it uses the AS-Motor Electric system, this model is also compatible with EGO 56V professional batteries—useful for contractors who already run EGO hand tools.

Who It’s Designed For

  • Councils working in residential estates and quiet zones
  • Grounds teams for schools, hospitals and business parks
  • Contractors who prefer low-noise machinery
  • Sites with early-start restrictions or emission limits
  • Operators already using EGO 56V batteries

Real Strengths

  • Quiet operation: 72.4 dB makes it suitable for noise-sensitive areas.
  • Strong electric drive: 3,200 W rated output keeps the brush turning under load.
  • No sweeping afterwards: The 25-litre collection bag captures debris as you work.
  • Consistent pressure: The oscillating brush system adjusts itself automatically.
  • Good edge access: Flip-up guard lets you clean right up to kerbs and walls.
  • EGO battery compatibility: Cross-tool battery sharing lowers running costs.
  • Controlled operation: Stone guard helps contain debris in public areas.

Support, Service and Parts

Suffolk Mowers supplies batteries, chargers, replacement cable brushes and service parts for the AS 50 E-WeedHex. Operators who want longer runtime can pair the machine with the EGO 28 Ah back battery. If you need the petrol equivalent for heavier growth or uneven ground, you can view the AS 50 WeedHex.

Where It Sits in the Range

The AS 50 E-WeedHex mirrors the layout of the petrol AS 50 but trades engine output for clean, quiet operation. It’s more powerful than the compact AS 30 E-WeedHex and more manageable than the larger AS 60 E-WeedHex. For residential and noise-restricted areas, this model gives the best balance of coverage, control and running costs.

Compatible Accessories

  • EGO 56V 10 Ah battery
