Description

The AL-KO Comfort BF 5002 R II is a multi-functional power unit designed for demanding garden and land work. With a strong 196cc Loncin petrol engine, it provides the flexibility to handle mowing, soil cultivation, or ploughing tasks — all with a single machine. Attachments can be swapped quickly and without hassle, making it the perfect choice for homeowners and landowners who value efficiency and reliability.

Powerful and Reliable Engine

At the heart of the BF 5002 R II is a 196cc Loncin OHV petrol engine delivering 3.8kW of power. Combined with a worm gear transmission running in an oil bath, it offers smooth power delivery and long service life, even under constant load. The forward and reverse drive (2.2 / 1.1 km/h) ensures control, stability, and effortless manoeuvring on uneven terrain.

Adaptable 4-in-1 System

This versatile combi unit can be converted for four main applications in minutes:

CB 870 Cutter Bar (AK110494)
FSM 530 I Front Sickle Mower (AK127768)
CF 500 Rotary Tiller (AK110495)
Ridging Plough (AK110742)

Each attachment fits securely via the quick-fit connection system, allowing fast transitions between jobs such as grass cutting, soil tilling, and ridging.

Comfortable and Stable Operation

The height-adjustable and 180° swivelling handlebars make operation comfortable and safe, even in confined or sloped areas. Large 13×5.0-6 foam-filled wheels with coarse-tread farmer’s tyres provide outstanding traction and stability on grass, soil, and uneven ground. Capable of handling slopes up to 20°, this machine stays stable and efficient across a wide range of terrains.

Built to Last

The BF 5002 R II is engineered for endurance, using a robust single-axle design and durable components throughout. Its compact frame and balanced weight distribution make it easy to control and transport. Whether for mowing meadows, cultivating soil, or maintaining field edges, it delivers professional results with minimal effort.

I’ve been going to Linstead for years. Always helpful and friendly team. I’ve been changing all my items for battery operated ones. Stihl hedge trimmer, chainsaw and Stihl lawnmower. The team listen to my needs and advised which products would suit me. Next purchase will be the Stihl SHA 140 vacuum blower. Waiting for Keith to contact me. There after sales service is outstanding. Thank you
