RM 650 V Petrol Lawn Mower: Petrol lawn mower with Vario drive

With the STIHL RM 650 V petrol lawn mower, you can mow your lawn efficiently and with ease. With a cutting width of 48cm/19″, it is ideal for large lawns and transforms into a practical mulching mower without having to change the blade, simply fit the supplied mulching plug. During mulching the grass clippings are finely shredded and evenly distributed directly onto the lawn acting as a natural as fertiliser.

The mower’s Vario drive system allows you to easily control the ground speed so you can quickly adapt to different lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be controlled without affecting the engine/blade speed of the powerful Kohler engine. Other practical features include a central, seven-setting cutting height adjustment as well as an ergonomic height-adjustable mono comfort handlebar which makes emptying the fold-open 70-litre grass catcher box easy. The RM 650 V guarantees maximum comfort, whether during cut and collect mowing or when mulching. The RM 650 V comes with a 5 year extended domestic warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing).

VARIO SELF-DRIVE

The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.

MULCHING FUNCTION

MOW AND FERTILISE IN A SINGLE STEP. The mulching function saves you having to dispose of cuttings and lets you fertilise your lawn naturally. The mulching blades shred the cut grass into small particles which are then automatically distributed evenly over the turf.

MULTI-BLADE

FLEXIBLE MOWING AND MULCHING. The multi-blade allows you to mow and mulch without changing the blade. The specially shaped blades shred the cut grass. Then you decide whether the grass should be transported into the collection box via air flow, or further shredded and distributed evenly over the green area to become a nutrient-rich fertiliser.

FOLDING GRASS COLLECTION BOX

EASY EMPTYING. Your lawn mower is equipped with a folding grass collection box to make emptying clippings very straightforward. The fill-level indicator signals the right time for emptying. An airstream ensures dense filling while mowing, so you can make optimum use of the full volume of the box. The slats on the side of the box direct the air towards the ground, which protects you from dirt being swirled up.

SMOOTH-RUNNING WHEELS

IMPROVE CONTROL. This lawn mower has robust and durable smooth-running wheels. Therefore you can keep track of your lawn mowing easily and effortlessly. Thanks to their traction and directional stability, these smooth-running wheels can be effortlessly manoeuvred to support careful and comfortable lawn maintenance.

SUPER-SOFT HANDLE

FOR COMFORTABLE LAWN MOWING. The ergonomic super-soft handle means that your arms are protected when mowing the lawn, as any vibrations are absorbed.

HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE COMFORT HANDLEBAR

COMFORTABLE WORKING AND STORAGE. The comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. Furthermore as the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.
