Three models within one professional platform
The MSA 220 T offers a straightforward professional setup focused on balance, reliability, and cutting performance.
The MSA 220 TC-O adds an LED display on the top handle showing operating status and chain brake position, along with an oil sensor that warns when chain lubrication is low.
The MSA 220.1 TC-O is the latest model in the range, delivering increased torque under load with Power Boost technology, while retaining the LED display and oil monitoring features for improved control during demanding work.
Precise and intuitive control
All models feature an electronic trigger system with unlock button for smooth, predictable throttle response. The compact top-handle layout and excellent power-to-weight balance help reduce wrist and arm fatigue during extended climbing work. A fold-out suspension hook allows the saw to be secured or lowered safely when repositioning in the tree.
Durable, weather-ready construction
With an IPX4 rating, the MSA 220 T Series is suitable for use in typical UK weather conditions. An easy-to-clean air filter supports consistent cooling and long service life, while side-mounted chain tensioning, captive sprocket-cover nuts, and a tool-free oil tank cap simplify routine maintenance on site.
Flexible battery options
The AP 300 S battery offers the best balance of power and handling for most users. The AP 500 S provides longer runtime for extended cutting sessions, though it may affect balance when working aloft. The MSA 220.1 TC-O also supports the lighter AP 200 S, which can reduce fatigue during long days in the tree.
The MSA 220 T is compatible with all AP batteries shown above. It can also be used with AR 2000 L and AR 3000 L backpack batteries for significantly longer run times: up to 315 minutes with AR 2000 L and up to 500 minutes with AR 3000 L.
