Delivering up to 26 Newtons of blowing force, the BGA250 offers consistent power from start to finish. Unlike some battery tools that lose strength as they drain, the STIHL BGA250 keeps delivering maximum performance whether fully charged or near empty.
Thanks to its quiet operation, the BGA 250 can be used in noise-sensitive areas without ear defenders and without disturbing nearby residents or clients. Its lightweight, well-balanced build means you can work longer with less strain.

The BGA 250 is not compatible with the AP 20 battery. It can also be used with AR backpack batteries for longer run times: up to 145 minutes (eco) or 44 minutes (high power) with the AR 2000 L, and up to 218 minutes (eco) or 65 minutes (high power) with the AR 3000 L.
Lightweight, Balanced, and Easy to Control
Weighing just 2.7 kg, the BGA-250 is easy to handle with either hand, reducing wrist and arm fatigue. The carefully angled handle and tube keep it steady, even on maximum power, so there’s no need to tilt awkwardly to get the right blowing direction.
The variable speed trigger and boost mode allow you to match the power to the job — whether shifting light debris or clearing heavy, wet leaves. For longer tasks, cruise control locks your chosen power setting, saving your finger from constant pressure. An optional shoulder harness can also help distribute the weight.
Using the recommended AP 300 S battery, the STIHL BGA 250 can run for up to 40 minutes on lower power, or around 12 minutes at full boost.
