The Tornado 9121 W is ideal for mowing rough turf or large areas of 8.500 m2 with weeds and thick grass. Equipped with a powerful Honda GXV 690 688 cc twin cylinder engine it is designed for heavy-duty mowing. This side discharge model is provided with a 121-cutting deck, 3 cutting blades and a rugged cast-iron front axle. Your long-lasting ally for lawn care.
The cutting-edge STIGA Tornado 9121 W is an impressive lawn-maintenance workhorse designed to make the coverage of expansive grassed areas fast and hassle-free!
Primary amongst numerous premium features is its Honda GXV 690 688 cc twin cylinder engine which, thanks to its V-Twin, overhead-valve design, offers smooth, low-vibration operation, increased torque-output and superior fuel-efficiency.
A two-stage air-filter combined with full-pressure lubrication to minimize component wear and maximize engine life; while a very large-capacity petrol tank (15 litres) – accessed via a handy external filler-cap – lessens downtime by reducing the number and frequency of refueling stops.
Tornado 9121 W is capable of handling the sort of challenging terrain that would defeat a lower-specification model.
It benefits from a smart 5.5″ widescreen display that provides clear, easy-to-read information on engine RPM, battery charge, oil level and fuel level, combined with Best Cutting Zone function to improve cutting performance; and it comes with a widest-in-class 121cm three-blade cutter-deck that ensures an excellent large-area work rate. STIGA Best Cutting-Zone function will always let the operator know when they’re achieving the best cutting-performance, thanks to green-light indicator, whatever the terrain and grass-type.
The Tornado 9121 W has a pedal-operated hydrostatic transmission; an attractive attribute that gives infinitely variable control of the ground-speed (forward and reverse), which in turn optimizes maneuverability and makes it much easier to mow and tow around obstacles.
A cruise-control function means you can lock the forward-speed and give your foot and ankle a rest when required; while LED headlights provide essential illumination should you need to work on into the evening.
The two-in-one Tornado 9121 W is an adaptable tractor that can either side-discharge or mulch clippings, with the former perfect when mowing informal outlying areas and overgrown meadow-grass; and the latter coming into its own on regularly mown formal lawns.
Excelling in terms of comfort and convenience, the Tornado 9121 W has an armrest-equipped seat, a raised soft-grip steering wheel, a cup holder and a storage compartment.
Other stand-out features include deck-mounted gauge wheels that prevent scalping when turning on inclines; a washing link for straightforward under-deck cleaning; and a cast-iron front axle that confers rugged durability.
