To mark 40 years of the Gomboy, Silky Japan introduces the Gomboy Curve Outback “KURO” — a limited edition model that combines proven heritage with exceptional field performance. Every element is purposefully designed: a deep Black Oxide coated blade, a matching sustainable Arbor Composite grip, and a custom black carrying case. The name captures the aesthetic: KURO means black in Japanese.

While its look is distinct, the KURO is engineered for serious use. The low-glare Black Oxide coating gives the blade a matte, non-reflective finish, making it ideal for tactical work. Crucially, the coating provides exceptional corrosion protection, ensuring the saw’s reliable cutting performance endures in any environment.
