Linstead Garden Machinery at the 2025 Suffolk Show
This year’s Suffolk Show was one of the best we’ve attended — buzzing with energy, packed with machines, and full of conversations with people who genuinely care about quality kit. We brought some serious hardware with us, from all-terrain vehicles to tracked mowers and zero-turns, and the response was incredible.
We brought the brands that matter
Our goal was simple: bring the best machines from brands that are built for real work. Whether you’re managing estates, contracting full time, or just want kit that lasts — these are the names that deliver.

Polaris – for farmers, estates and serious off-roaders
Polaris took centre stage at our stand — and rightly so. Their utility vehicles are a go-to choice for farms, shoot operators, and landowners who need all-terrain performance without compromising on comfort. We had a full line-up on show, including the Polaris Ranger and Sportsman, but it was the striking red Polaris RZR that really turned heads.
Families stopped to admire it, kids wanted photos in the seat, and contractors were keen to hear about its handling and payload. It was the perfect mix of fun and functionality — a machine that looks the part and works just as hard.
AS-Motor – for slopes, scrub and remote control mowing
If there was one machine people couldn’t stop staring at, it was the AS 940 Sherpa RC. This remote-controlled tracked mower from AS-Motor had contractors, councils, and even competitors asking questions. Built for tough terrain and steep banks, this is the kind of mower you need when a ride-on just won’t cut it.
We had great conversations with grounds teams, wildlife trusts, and local authorities about how tracked mowing can improve safety and efficiency — especially when dealing with uneven land or thick vegetation.
Ariens – zero-turns that mean business
Next to Polaris and AS-Motor, we showcased a solid range of Ariens zero-turns. Designed for professional mowing contractors, these machines were popular with groundskeepers and private estates looking to speed up cutting without sacrificing quality. Fast, agile and tough — they’re ideal for wide lawns, sports fields and commercial sites.
Weibang – built for long hours and heavy use
Weibang machines may not grab headlines like the remote-controlled mowers or ATVs, but they quietly impressed a lot of visitors — especially those doing regular commercial work. Landscapers and maintenance teams liked the durability, serviceability, and the no-nonsense build quality.
Several attendees commented on how rare it is to see a mower brand that still puts real engineering ahead of flashy gimmicks. That’s why we stock Weibang — because they just work.
Stihl – tools that get the job done
And of course, it wouldn’t be a Linstead stand without Stihl. While we didn’t bring the full showroom range, we had enough to spark plenty of interest from tree surgeons, fencing contractors and land managers who already know the brand’s reputation.
Chainsaws, brushcutters and battery kit came up a lot in conversation — particularly around noise-sensitive areas like schools and estates. Stihl’s battery range continues to impress for anyone looking to cut emissions and running costs.
The people made it
What really made the show special was the mix of people we met. Over the two days, we spoke to:
- Farmers looking to upgrade aging ATVs
- Contractors exploring tracked mowing for safety and efficiency
- Estate managers considering finance for multiple machines
- Event organisers needing tough zero-turns for regular site maintenance
- And plenty of curious families with an eye for quality kit
We also chatted to a few landowners running glamping sites and holiday parks — many of whom were surprised to see just how versatile UTVs and zero-turn mowers have become.
Couldn’t make it?
If you didn’t make it to the stand, don’t worry — everything we brought (and more) is available to view at our showroom or online. You can browse:
- Our full ATV and UTV range
- Tracked and slope mowers
- Zero-turn commercial mowers
- Stihl tools and battery equipment
- Professional pedestrian mowers
See you next time
Thanks again to everyone who came to the stand — whether you came with a shopping list or just fancied a look. The conversations, questions, and feedback were brilliant. If you saw something you liked, or just want to chat through a few options, feel free to get in touch or drop into our Linstead showroom.
Until next time, keep cutting!
