RMA 7 RV Cordless Mulching Lawn Mower: Professional mulching mower for grounds maintenance and lawn care

The RMA 7 RV professional battery-powered mulching lawn mower has been designed specifically with professional landscapers in mind. Capable of taking on the toughest mowing jobs you may face during the working day, it’s part of the AP System of battery tools. Using the power of 2 AP batteries, the RMA 7 RV is a 72 volt lawn mower – meaning it has a higher mowing performance that is comparable to the RM 756 petrol professional lawn mowers.

This lawn mower is built with a rugged aluminium deck with a polymer inner casing. Its sturdy construction means the lawn mower has a long service life, is resistant to corrosion thanks to the powder coating and has easily replaceable parts, such as the metal scuff strips and the polymer lining. The RMA 7 RV has a 46 cm cutting width and individual wheel cutting heigh adjustment, which can be set between 25 – 100 mm for maximum durability and adaptability when working across tricky terrains.

Mowing Modes

The RMA 7 RV has 2 different ways of mowing – you can either mulch with it or use the side-discharge flap to spread cuttings during mowing. The lawn mower has a built-in electronic interface on the mono-handlebar which shows useful information such as the battery charge, the ability to switch between mowing modes (Eco, standard, auto-boost) and adjust the motor speed levels. The lawn mower has Vario speed drive, which allows for 5 speed levels ranging from 0-6 km/h to be chosen.

The comfort mono-handlebar allows easy access to the grass catcher box, making it easier to remove and empty when it’s full. The 80-litre fabric grass catcher box has a steel frame with carrying handle, a polymer base, tear resistant fabric and has excellent collecting ability. The sturdy mono-handlebar is height adjustable and foldable for compact storage after use. The mono-handlebar also has a 5-year professional warranty too.

On a full charge with two AP 300 S batteries, you will be able to mow lawns up to 760 m2, which becomes 910 m2 when the lawn mower is used with two AP 500 S batteries.

Must be used with the AP 300 S or AP 500 S battery. Reduced performance with AP 200 S battery. Cannot be used with 1 AP battery or the AR L backpack battery.

CONSTANT POWER

When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. This isn’t the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

POWER BOOST

MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.

CUT-HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT ON EACH WHEEL

FOR FLEXIBLE ADAPTATION TO THE TERRAIN. The stable, smooth-running cut-height adjustment allows you to adjust each wheel of your lawn mower individually. This enables the greatest possible flexibility in adapting to the respective terrain.

ALUMINIUM HOUSING

LIGHTWEIGHT AND VERY RESISTANT. The aluminium housing is both lightweight and stable. Its low weight makes your work easier, while the powder-coated surface ensures the housing is also protected against external influences. These properties also increase the service life and durability of the tool.

VARIO SELF-DRIVE

The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.

HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE COMFORT HANDLEBAR

COMFORTABLE WORKING AND STORAGE. The comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. As the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.

ECO MODE

ENERGY-EFFICIENT WORKING. With Eco mode activated, the speed of your lawn mower engine automatically adapts to the output you actually need. This means that your cordless lawn mower uses less energy and can handle a larger area before it needs to be charged again.

DIGITAL HMI

STAY INFORMED. The display on the handle bar of your lawn mower tells you the charge level of the batteries, the working mode you have selected, the maximum speed setting and possible faults with the mower. This allows you to see important information at a glance so you can work effectively at all times. In addition, you can use the HMI to make changes to settings such as the driving speed or mowing mode.<br />
